Hi Reader, To celebrate Samsung's Galaxy S25 launch, I thought it would be fun to share my favorite book apps on my phone. LibbyLibby is a library app, and it's an absolute must! This is where I place holds, listen to FREE audiobooks, and send FREE ebooks to my Kindle. Remember to tag new releases, so you get notified when your library adds them to its catalog. It's my secret sauce for avoiding long holds. Libro.fmLibro.fm isn't the only audiobook app I have, but it's my favorite because it supports independent bookstores. One of my other favorite features is that your monthly credits never expire. This means I can take a break from my monthly subscription and not worry about losing any credits. Book of the MonthI don't log onto the Book of the Month app as often as the others, but it's always fun when I do! It always feels exciting the day new books for the month are released. With the app, I can select my picks on the go. KindleWhile I generally read ebooks on my actual Kindle device, I keep the Kindle app on my phone for when I'm in a pinch-- like when I locked myself outside the other day (facepalm!). I also prefer the app over my device for multicolor books like cookbooks. PangoBooksPangoBooks is a new favorite app that allows me to sell my used books and use the credits to buy books. It couldn't be easier to use! It takes less than a minute to list a book, and they email you the shipping label when it sells. Newer Book of the Month books tend to sell the fastest there. GoodReadsGoodReads is no longer the only reading tracking app on the block, but I've stayed loyal to it because I started using it ten years ago and have input a ton of data since that time, going all the way back to my required reading in high school and even some children's books. As a reminder from Samsung: Final chance! Get the Galaxy S25 Ultra for up to $900 off + FREE Buds3 Pro - deal ends February 7th. Stack the savings and get the S25 for only $399 with a free Buds3Pro: Trade in an S24 Ultra, Z Fold6, or Z Fold5 for $900 off, plus extra 5% discount for students.
Remember, it's a good day to read a book. -Jules Disclosure: This email contains affiliate links by which I may earn a commission on purchases made through clicks on my links, at no extra cost to you. |

Formerly known as The Literary Lifestyle. We are rebranding! Hi Reader, I hope you're having a good Fourth of July weekend if you're in the U.S.A. The holiday got me thinking about my Read the U.S.A. challenge to read a book from each of the 50 states. I'm almost done with just three more to go! It's one of my goals to complete it this year. I love the fact that it...

Formerly known as The Literary Lifestyle. We are in the middle of rebranding! Hi Reader, One of bestselling author Jo Piazza’s biggest interests is trad (traditional) wives, which is the subject of her newest release, Everyone Is Lying To You. (In case you aren’t familiar with trad wives, it’s a social media community of women who embrace traditional gender roles in marriage. They focus on sharing domestic duties, such as cooking, cleaning, and child-rearing, and a 1950s-style ideal of a more...
